"Call the Midwife" screening and Birth Chat

Doulas, educators, birth junkies, midwives, nurses, and anyone who loves a great story are invited to a showing of the BBC dramatic series “Call the Midwife” followed by a Birth Chat with the midwives of Birth Roots.
The beautifully filmed and engaging series “Call the Midwife,” set in east London in the 1950s, chronicles the daily adventures of an amazing yet ordinary group of district midwives and nurses.  Each week we will screen an episode of the series, then host a Birth Chat based on the topics raised in the episode. This is a great opportunity for birth workers and others to laugh, learn, and share.
Suggested donation of $10-$15 per evening includes snacks and drinks.  We will happily accept a one time donation of $50-$75 for the full series.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP a week prior to each showing by email at birthrootsbabies@gmail.com, by phone at (619) 409-4900, or by Facebook.
